MCL to Recruit More Production Operators Trainees

Bojonegoro, 25 May 2009 – Mobil Cepu Ltd. (MCL), the Operator of Cepu Block, announced the outset of the preliminary test for the production operator trainees’ positions. Over 2,000 applications were received in response to the advertisement regarding the vacancies in newspapers.

Based on initial screening and written tests results, 270 candidates were invited for interviews in Surabaya, East Java. Approximately 116 candidates are from Bojonegoro, Blora and Tuban Regencies while the rest are mostly from other areas in Java.
 
Following the final selection process, 50 candidates will be appointed as production operator trainees and proceed to approximately two years mandatory training for basic knowledge of oil and gas and English at Pusdiklat MIGAS facilities in Cepu.
 
After the completion of the training program, the apprentices will be assigned for On-The-Job training program. In 2008, 61 operator trainees have graduated from the similar program.
